Mohican WindHarps is a builder of Aeolian harp sculptures for outside use. These
wrought iron harp sculptures are meant to be the centerpiece of a garden, patio, deck or porch. We started out
with lots of experimentation and research thru the Internet and libraries. We visited the
harp at the Wind Pavilion at the Wilds in Zanesville, Ohio. The materials used produce an
aesthetically pleasing work of art.
Mohican WindHarps has quite literally designed a harp for year round outdoor use.
Our unique 3-sided design allows unit to work regardless of wind direction. Our harps are 12" in
diameter, 45" tall and weigh 18 lbs.

| Our harp frames are made from wrought iron. The frame is zinc primed, then powder
coated for a finish that will last for years outside. Tensioning hardware is solid brass so it
will not rust. Megaphone speaker cones are mild or stainless steel, with solid copper as an option on some styles. The copper cone will patina(turn blue/green over several years, like a cooper roof). The strings are heavy nylon music string, which should last 3-4 years or optional titanium strings.
Strings may need tightened several times a year. Strings are tightened with std. 7/16” wrenches.
Strings are clear for less expensive units, with an option for red, blue or R-W-B. Colored strings
will fade over several years due to UV light of the sun. These harps are designed to keep
maintenance to a minimum. Replacement strings sold upon request. Maintenance and mounting
instructions included with each unit.

| Harps can be placed in a variety of locations. Placement in an open, breezy area
is critical for sound production. These garden ornaments can be mounted as shown or upside down if
desired. Typical placements of these yard ornaments are deck railings, a post or other structure in a garden
or patio, on a porch railing or up under the eaves, boat docks or any other outdoors
structure. Harps must be fastened firmly for proper operation; they cannot swing in
the breeze. Fasten with ¼” bolts, nut & washers or lag screws with washers.
